Just nu är Vodafone och reklambyrån JWT Mena Egyptens minst omtyckta bolag. Bloggen I hate Vodafone Egypt säger det mesta.
I reklamfilmen, gjord av JWTs lokala byrå, hävdar "We didn't send people to the streets, we didn't start the revolution. We only reminded Egyptians how powerful they are."
Ett påpekande som väckt vrede i Egypten eftersom Vodafone under januarirevolutionen lydde president Mubarak när han krävde att mobilnäten skulle stängas ned för att förhindra kommunikation mellan revoltörerna.
Nu har JWT gått ut och bett om ursäkt i sociala medier. Samtidigt hävdar man att det inte är en reklamfilm utan en presentationsfilm för Vodafone.
